Itchy Burts tripled to lead off the game to center and came around to score on a
Troy Black single making it 1-0 Islanders.

Nate White led off the second with a single to right center and stole second. After a walk to
Cole Fluta, the Islanders moved a double steal and White came around to score on an error by the catcher on an overthrow.
Luke Marbach singled to left in the next at bat to drive in Fluta to make it 3-0 Islanders.
- Fluta and Marbach drew back-to-black walks to lead off the sixth. Burts hit a single to right to drive in Fluta. Two batters later,
Mike Williams drew a walk to put runners on the corners. The Islanders again tested HBU on the base paths and another error by the catcher allowed Marbach to score as Williams took second base.

Tristan Welch doubled to start the A&M-Corpus Christi seventh. He would score on a White single as the left fielder misplayed the ball, allowing Welch to score the Islanders' seventh run.
- Burts was 3-for-5 with an RBI and a run scored. He had a triple in the first inning.

Drake Osborn was 3-for-5 on the day.
- Welch went 2-for-3 with a walk and a run scored. He hit a double in the seventh.
- White was 2-for-5 with a run scored. He also stole two bases.
- Marbach drove in a run and scored a run going 1-for-5 with a walk.
- Black was 1-for-4 with a walk and an RBI.
- Fluta drew three walks and came around to score twice in the game. He added one stolen base.
- Williams reached on a walk in the sixth.

Henry Bird threw 2.1 inning of relief. He set the Huskies down in order in the third. He had three strikeouts and one walk.

Tyler Miller struck out two batters in the fifth.

Kevin Fleisher worked 2.0 innings of relief, allowing one run on two hits. He struck out one and did not issue a walk.
