Big inning lifts baseball over Prairie View A&M

- The Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi baseball team defeated Prairie View A&M, 8-4, on Tuesday afternoon in Prairie View, Texas.
- The Islanders improved to 3-5 on the season with the win while the Panthers fall to 2-7.
- The big inning came in the sixth when Texas A&M-Corpus Christi plated seven runs to take a commanding lead. The Islanders picked up five hits and took advantage of two errors in the frame. Justin Taylor, Tristan Welch, Itchy Burts, Luke Marbach and Mike Williams all drove in runs during the frame.

- The Islanders scored eight runs on eight hits with three errors. The Panthers had four runs on eight hits with five errors.
