It marks Hoyt's third home run of the season, which also leads the team.
- Texas A&M-Corpus Christi added to their lead in the bottom of the fourth with two more runs.

Tiler Noyola to left field. Lee collected her first RBI of the day with a single to center field that scored Torres.
Ashleigh Sgambelluri concluded the offense with an RBI single to right field, scoring Noyola. Altogether, the offense strung together three consecutive hits in the inning.
- The Tigers threatened in the top of the fifth, scoring a run on an infield single with the bases loaded, cutting the Islanders lead to 3-1. However, sophomore pitcher
Jenika Lombrana got out of the jam by forcing a ground out to the third baseman for the third out.
- A&M-Corpus Christi scored its final run in the bottom of the sixth. A single followed by a stolen base from Torres put the Islanders in position to score again with just one out.
