- The Blue and Green boast the No. 3 scoring defense in the Southland, giving up on average 56.86 points/game and have held two of its opponents to under 40 points.
- The duo of
Alexes Bryant and
Dalesia Booth rank No. 3 and No. 4 in the conference in total blocks with 33 and 30 respectively.
- Booth is now two blocks shy of taking over the all-time shot block record of 124 set by Roberta Plaza from 2000-04. Bryant has collected 99 career blocks in her two years with the program, leading the team in that category with 33 this season.
- Texas A&M-Corpus Christi has won seven consecutive games dating back to Jan. 8 at Abilene Christian.
- Senior guard
Dae Dae Evans has led the defensive back court for the Islanders, collecting 33 steals so far this season. Evans currently sits at No. 3 all-time in program history with 168 career steals.

- SFA comes into Wednesday's matchup sitting in first place with an overall record of 18-4 and an 11-2 mark in conference action.
- The Ladyjacks own the top scoring defense in the league, allowing just 54.29 points/game.
- SFA sits at No. 3 in the Southland in scoring offense, averaging 72.1 points/game.
- Stephen F. Austin won the first matchup between the two schools, 66-44 back on Jan. 8 in Corpus Christi.
- Junior Aiyana Johnson is No. 2 in the Southland with eight double-double games in 2019-20. She is also at the top of the league in field goal shooting percentage at 55.2-percent.
