Track & field wins three events in Houston on Saturday

Story Headlines
- The Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi track and field team won three events and set two school records at the 2020 FasTrak Collegiate Invitational on Saturday in Houston, Texas.
- The Islanders also had 18 personal bests on the day.

Women's Highlights
- Valentina Campos was a double-winner on Saturday, taking the mile in a personal best time of 5:02.91 and coming back to win the 3,000m run in 10:09.80.
- Larissa Manciaz took third in the 200m dash with a personal best time of 25.21. She also hit a personal best in the 60m dash, finishing 11th in 7.77.
- Sierra Pruitt finished fifth in the 200m dash in 25.43.
- Quin Johnson took second in the mile in a personal best, 5:10.12. She also took third in the 800m run in 2:22.01.
- Cambria Clark was third in the mile in 5:11.22. She also took sixth in the 800m run in 2:23.45.
- Kiara Pickens finished third in the long jump with a best mark of 5.67.
- Erika Snyder cleared 1.55m in the high jump, finishing fifth.

Men's Highlights
- Timor Barrett took sixth in the 60m hurdles, running 8.18 in the finals. He also set the a school record of 21.67 in the 200m dash, finishing second.
- Aaron Rosales reset his own school record in the weight throw with a mark of 14.71m, finishing sixth.
- Terrion Spivey finished sixth in the 200m dash and finished 10th in the 60m dash, running a personal best 7.05.
- Isaac Vargas won the 3,00m run in a personal best time of 8:36.22. He also took second in the mile with a personal record 4:17.71.
- Tristan Stellmach finished third in the mile in 4:18.23 and was also third in the 800m run in 1:59.65.
- Marek Spriestersbach ran 8:55.89 in the 3,000m, finishing second behind Vargas. Juan Salinas III was third in the 3,000, finishing in 9:00.99.
- Bjoern Adden finished fourth in the long jump with a mark of 6.96m.
- Zachary Seaman cleared 1.95m in the high jump to take fourth.
- Preston Whaley was fifth in the triple jump with a mark of 14.50m.
- Colton Cohea cleared 4.87m in the pole vault to take fifth.
