ISLANDER NOTABLES
- During the Islanders three game winning streak, the defense has given up 60 points or fewer in all three contests and allowed opposing offenses to shoot just 33.8-percent from the field. 
- Senior guard Emma Young (Coleman-O'Bryan) became the 10th player in program history to reach 1,000 career points, hitting the mark with 10 points on Wednesday night against New Orleans. She joins fellow teammate Dalesia Booth as one of two starters to eclipse 1,000 points this season. 
- Senior forward Alexes Bryant has propelled the Islander offense the past three games, averaging 18.3 points/game and 8.3 rebounds/game. Bryant tied her career high for points in a game with 26 against the UNO and is currently second in the Southland with 27 blocks this season.
- La'Janeira Robinson has provided a spark off of the bench, averaging 6.5 points/game while shooting 33-percent from beyond the arc. 
- As a unit, A&M-Corpus Christi has won the battle of the boards in 14 of their 18 games and posting an 11-3 record when outrebounding their opponent. 
- The Islanders split last season's series with the Cardinals, and have won four of the past five contests against UIW

CARDINAL NOTABLES
- UIW is coming off of a huge 67-48 win over defending regular season Southland Conference Champion Lamar on Wednesday afternoon. 
- Senior guard Imani Robinson's 13.8 points per game leads the Cardinals and ranks sixth in the SLC.
- UIW has had three or more Cardinals score in double-figures on six separate occasions this season. The team is 6-0 in those games.
- UIW boasts the fourth-best defense in the conference, holding opponents to 59.8 points per game.
- The Cardinals hold a 6-3 record through nine home games this season. 
- UIW heads into the 2019-20 campaign with a new coaching staff led by coach Jeff Dow at the helm. Dow joins the Cardinals after five seasons at the University of Louisiana at Monroe.
