ISLANDER NOTABLES
- This Islanders have won three of the last four contests against the Privateers including last seasons' 69-47 victory in the first round of the Southland Conference tournament.
- A&M-Corpus Christi has won back-to-back games against both last year's conference tournament champion (ACU) and the regular season conference champion (Lamar). The win over the Cardinals served as the program's 300th victory.
- Texas A&M-Corpus Christi is coming off its best defensive performance of the season, allowing a season low 39 points against Lamar on Jan. 18 in the 10 point victory. It marks the lowest point total allowed since Jan. 21, 2017 at Sam Houston State.
- Entering the second half trailing 26-23 against Lamar, the blue and green gave up only eight points in the third quarter and five in the final frame. The 13 second half points allowed broke the program record that was set on Jan. 11, 2006 against Huston-Tillotson (15 points).

Alexes Bryant recorded three blocks against Lamar on Saturday, adding to her team leading total of 25 and 91 for her career, ranking her No. 6 all-time.

Emma Young (Coleman-O'Bryan) is looking to become just the 10th player in program history to score 1,000 points, as she currently sits at 991 for her career. The Nicholasville, Kentucky native is averaging 9.4 points/game in her final season with the Islanders.
PRIVATEER NOTABLES
- After dropping their first two conference games, UNO has reeled off five straight Southland victories, including a 78-59 win over McNeese on Saturday.
- Senior guard Rehema Franklin led the way with 22 points while knocking down four triples. Asia Woods posted a double-double with 18 points and 13 rebounds while Kayla Thomas added 10 points in 11 minutes.
- During their five game winning streak, the Privateers have forced 20-plus turnovers in each game.
- Larry Whitley is ranked No. 1 in the Southland with 29 blocks so far this season. She also leads the team in scoring with 12.3 points/game.
- Both UNO and A&M-Corpus Christi are currently tied for No. 4 in the conference standings.
- The Privateers enter Wednesday night's matchup averaging 11.6 steals/game and 4.2 blocks/game.
