LAST TIME VS. SOUTHEASTERN LOUISIANA
- The Islanders fell to Southeastern Louisiana, 84-80, in Corpus Christi earlier this season on Jan. 4, at the American Bank Center.
- The Islanders cut a 26 point Lion lead down to just three in the final moment of the game but were unable to pull even.
- Irshaad Hunte led the team with a career-high 18 points, knocking down 10-of-12 free throw attempts. He scored 14 points after halftime. Hunte finished with five rebounds, one assist and one steal in 25 minutes of action.
- The Islanders shot a then season-high 54.5 percent (24-for-44) from the field and knocked down a season-best 24-of-29 free throw attempts (82.8 percent).
- Jordan Hairston scored 13 points with two steals, an assist and a rebound. He went a perfect 6-for-6 at the charity stripe.
- Javae Lampkins knocked down three three-pointers off the bench and finished with a career-high 11 points with two rebounds, a steal and a blocked shot.
- Elijah Schmidt finished with 10 points on 3-of-5 shooting. He tied for the team-high in rebounds with five and blocked two shots with an assist.
- Jashawn Talton-Thomas added 10 points and had the game-high with six assists. He tied Schmidt with five rebounds and knocked down three three-pointers.

TIME FOR TONY
- Senior Tony Lewis has enjoyed a very productive two game stretch for the Islanders. He is averaging 11.5 points and 7.5 rebounds, shooting 9-of-14 (64.3 percent) from the field.
- In addition, the big man has displayed a shooter's touch from outside the arc, connecting on all three of his long range attempts.
- Against SFA, Lewis was limited in minutes due to foul trouble but managed 11 points and five rebounds, connecting on 5-of-7 field goal attempts (71.4 percent)
- He followed that up with his second career double-double against Abilene Christian, scoring 12 points with 10 boards in 27 minutes of action.
- He has now scored double-figures in back-to-back games for the first time since Nov. 9 & 12 of 2018 against UTRGV and UTA).
- In conference play, Lewis leads the team and ranks 17th in the Southland in rebounding at 5.8 rpg.

THE WIN LIST
- Head coach Willis Wilson has won 130 games since arriving on the Island and is on pace to become the program's all-time win leader.
- Wilson needs just four more wins to tie Ronnie Arrow at 134 victories.
- Arrow was the first head coach in program history, coaching from 1999-07.
