ISLANDER NOTABLES
- Senior Emma Young (Coleman-O'Bryan) has averaged 10 points and 4.3 rebounds in the Islanders' last three conference games. Her 17 points against the Ladyjacks on Wednesday night put her just 31 points shy of the 1,000 point mark. She also tied her career high in made three pointers with three against SFA. 
- Dalesia Booth and Alexes Bryant each added a block to their career totals against SFA, as Booth is now in a tie with former teammate Camesha Davis for No. 3 all-time in career blocks with 113. Bryant now sits in the No. 7 spot with 86 in just two seasons with the blue and green. 
- The Islanders have outrebounded their opponents in 11 of their 15 games so far this season, holding an 8-3 record when winning the battle of the boards. 
- Texas A&M-Corpus Christi has featured a lineup with five seniors on 10 different occasions this season, sporting a 6-4 overall mark. In the last three games of conference play, three of those seniors have averaged double figures, led by Bryant (13.7), followed by Booth (10.3) and Coleman-O'Bryan (10.0). 
- In the last meeting between the two squads, Abilene Christian came away with a narrow, 69-68 victory in the conference tournament championship game. Booth led the Islander offense with 23 points, of which 15 came in the second half. Bryant and Dae Dae Evans both added nine points, while Coleman-O'Bryan scored eight.

WILDCAT NOTABLES
- ACU is 4-0 to start the Southland schedule for the third time in the last five seasons.
- Dominique Golightly scored a career-high 27 points against Lamar last week to earn her Southland Conference Player of the Week honors for the second time this season.
- The Wildcats are fourth in the country in scoring at 86.5 points per game, and the +29.9 scoring margin per game ranks fifth in all of women's college basketball as well.
- Abilene Christian is riding an eight-game winning streak, their largest such streak since the end of the 2016-17 season. 
- Makayla Mabry hit a career-best seven three-pointers against the McNeese Cowgirls Wednesday night in Lake Charles, La.
