- Texas A&M-Corpus Christi is now 3-0 all-time against the Tigers.
- The five Islander goals set a program record for most goals in a game. The previous mark was four against Lamar on October 12, 2014.

Larissa Fagundes led the Islanders with two goals each. Deakin also recorded an assist in the match.
- Fagundes scored the first two goals of the match. In the seventh minute she took a pass from Deakin to open the scoring.

Alana Mangan hit a free kick that Fagundes connected on the end of to make the score 2-0.
