- In the ninth, Anderson hit a two-out double to left. Sanchez Jr.'s single to right put runners on the corners and Burts drove in Anderson with a double to right.
Game Two Key Statistics
- A&M-Corpus Christi scored two runs on six hits with no errors. The Islanders scored once in the third and once in the fifth.
- Anderson was 1-for-3 with a pair of runs scored. He was hit by a pitch and also stole a base.
- Burts was 1-for-3 with a stolen base and a sacrifice bunt.

- In the third inning, Anderson led off by getting hit by a pitch. After Burts singled to left, Anderson and Burts both moved up on a double steal. Sanchez Jr. grounded out but it allowed Anderson to score to make it 1-0 Islanders.
- With one down in the fifth, Anderson hit an infield to the pitcher and went to second on a Burts sacrifice bunt. A balk allowed Anderson to take third and he came around to score the Islanders' second run on a Sanchez Jr. to left.
