Key Islander Innings
1st | Sanchez Jr. led off the first with a double to deep left center and moved up to third on ground out to the right side. Anderson hit a groundout to short but it allowed Sanchez Jr. to come home with the game's first run.
3rd | Fluta started the inning with a single to left center and went to third on a Sanchez Jr. single to right center. Burts laid down a bunt and the UIW pitcher was forced to look Fluta back to third as Burts reached safely to load the bases. Anderson reached on a fielder's choice but Fluta was forced out at home. After a strikeout, Williams hit an infield single to first, driving in Sanchez Jr. to tie the game, 2-2. Beard came up with a single to left to score Anderson and Burts to give the Islanders the lead again, 4-2.
