Defense leads men's basketball at McNeese

- The Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi men's basketball team defeated McNeese State University, 59-50, on Wednesday evening at the H&HP Complex in Lake Charles, La.
- The Islanders improve to 13-17 overall and 8-9 in Southland Conference play. The Cowboys fall to 9-21 overall and 5-12 in league action.
- Kareem South scored a game-high 17 points, going 5-for-5 at the free throw line to lead Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
