Women's basketball fall to UIW

- The Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi women's basketball team fell to the University of the Incarnate Word, 77-72, on Saturday at the McDermott Center.
- The Islanders fall to 13-14 overall and 7-9 in Southland play. The Cardinals improved to 5-22 and 5-11 in league action with the win.
- Four Islanders scored in double figures led by Dae Dae Evans who had a game-high 18 points on 6-of-16 shooting.
