CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas -- The Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi women's basketball program (11-9, 5-4 Southland) breaks up a four-game road trip with a return to Texas for the annual Homecoming game, hosting Incarnate Word (2-18, 2-7 Southland) on Saturday afternoon at the American Bank Center. The Islanders managed to sweep the Cardinals in last year's home-and-home, initially edging UIW by just four in the road contest before locking down a late-season blowout back in Corpus Christi. All-time, the Blue & Green are nearly perfect against Incarnate Word, owning a 9-1 overall mark with a 5-0 home record.

Following Saturday's Homecoming matchup with the Cardinals, the Islanders return to the road for the final two games of their four-match excursion, traveling north for a battle against Sam Houston State on Wednesday, Feb. 13 before wrapping up the trip at New Orleans on Saturday, Feb. 16.
