ABILENE, Texas -- The Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi women's basketball program (13-12, 7-7 Southland) opens the team's final road trip of the season with a rematch at Abilene Christian (17-8, 10-4 Southland) on Wednesday evening, tipoff against the Wildcats set for 6 p.m. at Moody Coliseum. Earlier this season, the Islanders pushed ACU to the wire in a 72-68 loss at the Dugan Wellness Center, falling despite double-digit performances from juniors
Emma Young (15 points) and
Alexes Bryant (12 points). All-time, the Blue & Green have been competitive against the Wildcats, owning a 3-7 overall mark with a 2-4 road record.
