got a 6.0 inning complete game performance from Kandace Johnson in the circle. Johnson allowed just two runs on five hits. She struck out five and walked two. She put Texas Southern down in order in the fourth and fifth innings, retiring nine in a row at one point.
- The Tigers scored two runs on five hits with an error. A&M-Corpus Christi had four hits and no errors.
- Olivia Rivas, Kandace Johnson, Thomas and Silvas each picked up hits in the game.
