Islanders travel north for battle at Stephen F. Austin

NACOGDOCHES, Texas -- The Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi men's basketball program closes out its two-game road trip at Stephen F. Austin, squaring off against the Lumberjacks on Wednesday, Feb. 20 at 6:30 p.m. Fans can also listen to the audio broadcast live on KEYS 1440 AM or watch the webstream on ESPN+.

ISLANDERS LAST TIME OUT
- New Orleans pushed past the Islanders by a 10-point margin, scoring a 68-58 victory this past Saturday at Lakefront Arena.
- Junior Elijah Schmidt led the way with 11 points and six rebounds while sophomore Tre Gray and fellow junior Tony Lewis each notched 10 points on the day. Meanwhile, senior Emmanuel Toney posted team-bests in both rebounds (7) and assists (4) while contributing seven points.
- Texas A&M-Corpus Christi shot 41.2 percent (21-for-51) from the field for the game, going 8-of-21 in the first half (38.1 percent) and 13-of-30 in the second half (41.2 percent).
- The Islanders earned a number of trips to the line, going 14-of-21 at the charity stripe (66.7 percent).
- A&M-Corpus Christi outworked the Privateers on the boards, grabbing 33 to the their 30.
- The Islanders pounded the rock inside throughout the game, generating 34 points in the paint and 12 second-chance points from offensive rebounds (11).
