HISTORY WITH HBU (ISLANDERS LEAD 8-2)
- This will be the 11th meeting between the two schools.
- All time, the Islanders are 5-0 in Corpus Christi and 3-2 in Houston.
- Texas A&M-Corpus Christi has won the past two contests, sweeping last year's series.
- Prior to that, HBU picked up win that ended a four-game Islander win streak.
- When playing in Houston, A&M-Corpus Christi averages 77.0 points per game while the Huskies average 78.0.

HUSKY (6-13, 2-6) NOTABLES
- Houston Baptist is 4-3 at home the season and 2-10 on the road.
- The Huskies snapped a six-game slide on Wednesday with a 96-92 road win at Incarnate Word.
- Sophomore guard Ian DuBose leads the team at 18.5 points per game. He has scored in double figures 17 times this year and has recorded five double-doubles.
- DuBose has hit a team-high 32 three pointers and also leads the team in assists with 65.
- Edward Hardt has started all 18 games he has appeared in and is averaging 12.3 points per contest and 5.5 rebounds, second only to DuBose's 6.2 board average.
- Jalon Gates has hit 29 three pointers coming off the bench. Six of those makes came against Incarnate Word, finishing wiht 18 points in the victory.
- Braxton Bonds has started 13 of the 19 games this season for HBU, averaging nearly 31 minutes per game. He had a team-best 44 steals and his 65 assists is just one off the team lead pace.
- On the year, HBU shoots 45.4 percent from the field and 32.5 percent from beyond the arc.
- The Huskies average 16.0 turnovers per game and are out rebounding opponents by nearly four boards an outing.

Irshaad Hunte scored a career-high 15 points on 5-of-6 shooting to go along with five free throw makes in Wednesday's loss at Abilene Christian.
- Texas A&M-Corpus Christi shot a season-high 54.3 percent (25-for-46) from the field.
- The Islanders trailed by as many as 17 in the second half but responded and took the lead twice in the closing moments of the contest.
- Texas A&M-Corpus Christi hit 19-of-24 free throw attempts (79.2 percent) on the evening.
- The Islander bench outscored ACU's 42-19 and held a 22-20 advantage in the paint.

Kareem South connected on 6-of-11 field goal attempts and finished with 16 points. He went 4-of-4 from the free throw line, had three assists, two rebounds and a steal.

Tre Gray scored a season high 16 points on 4-of-8 shooting. He had three rebounds, a steal and an assist while hitting a career-high eight free throws.
COMING HOME
- Next Wednesday's game against Southeastern Louisiana will be played on campus at the Dugan Wellness Center as part of the University's Homecoming festivities. Next Saturday's game against UIW will move back over to the American Bank Center where the team will play the remainder of its home games this season.
