LAST TIME OUT
- Texas A&M-Corpus Christi fell to the University of Central Arkansas, 71-67, on Saturday, Dec. 21, at the Farris Center in Conway, Ark. in the second game of the Southland season.
- Myles Smith led the way with a career-high 31 points on 10-of-17 shooting. He knocked down a career-high six three-pointers and led the team with seven rebounds. He also added a steal on the defensive end.
- The Islanders shot 42.1 percent from the field (24-for-57) and hit 11 three-pointers.
- In the first half, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi shot 50 percent (14-of-28) from the field and led 40-29 at the break.
- Nolan Bertain hit three three-pointers, finishing with nine points, three rebounds and an assist in 25+ minutes.
- Jashawn Talton-Thomas had a career-high six assists. He has now led the team in assists six times this season. Talton-Thomas also added six rebounds, three steals and a blocked shot.

THE WIN LIST
- Head coach Willis Wilson has won 128 games since arriving on the Island and is on pace to become the program's all-time win leader.
- Wilson needs just six more wins to tie Ronnie Arrow at 134 victories.
- Arrow was the first head coach in program history, coaching from 1999-07.

MYLES RUNS THE SHOW
- Myles Smith has been a handful in each of his past seven games. Smith has scored in double figures in all seven game and averaged 19.6 points per game in that stretch.
- Against Central Arkansas, Smith set a career-high with 31 points and six made three pointers. He also led the team in rebounding for the first time this year, grabbing seven.
- He has also been extremely efficient from the charity stripe, knocking down 38-of-46 attempts (82.6 percent)
- Already this season, Smith has scored 20 or more points on four occasions  and is averaging a career-high 31.9 minutes per contest.
- Smith missed the majority of the 2018-19 season due to injury.

TALTON-THOMAS' IMPACT
- Senior Talton-Thomas has been one of the stat-sheet stuffers for the Islanders this season. Despite drawing consistent double-teams, the senior has scored in double figures seven times this year and leads the team in rebounding and assists.
- He is the only player in the Southland to be in the the top-10 in both rebounding (7th - 7.4) and assists (10th - 3.2)
