LAST TIME VS. TEXAS A&M
- The Islanders fell to the Aggies, 86-69, back on Dec. 5, 2016, the last time the two teams met. The game was played at Reed Arena in College Station, Texas.
- Four A&M-Corpus Christi players scored in double figures, led by Cole Martinez (14), Rashawn Thomas (12), Kareem South (11) and Ehab Amin (10). Joseph Kilgore scored eight points in the game as well.
- The Aggies' Tyler Davis had 25 points in the win. As a team, Texas A&M shot 54.4 percent from the field (31-of-57).
- The Islanders connected on all six of their free throws during the game while the Aggies went 16-for-24 at the charity stripe.
- Current Islander Elijah Schmidt started and played 15 minutes with seven points, four rebounds, one block and one steal. Perry Francois played 14 minutes with a pair of rebounds and an assist.

ISLANDERS AND THE SEC
- All-time, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi is 2-16 against SEC opponents.
- The Islanders beat Texas A&M, 82-80, in 2003 in College Station for the program's first SEC victory.
- Back on Dec. 22, 2008, A&M-Corpus Christi won an overtime game at Georgia, 80-79.
- The Islanders have never faced Kentucky, South Carolina, Florida or Arkansas.
- A&M-Corpus Christi fell to Vanderbilt 71-66, in Nashville, Tenn., earlier this season on Nov. 11.

THE WIN LIST
- Head coach Willis Wilson has won 128 games since arriving on the Island and is on pace to become the program's all-time win leader.
- Wilson needs just six more wins to tie Ronnie Arrow at 134 victories.
- Arrow was the first head coach in program history, coaching from 1999-07.

MYLES RUNS THE SHOW
- Junior guard Myles Smith has been a handful the past three games. Smith has scored in double figures in all three game and averaged 19.7 points per game in that stretch.
- More importantly, his assist to turnover ratio has stayed heavily positive at +1.67 per game.
- He has also been extremely efficient from the charity stripe, knocking down 15-of-17 attempts (88.2 percent)
- Already this season, Smith has scored 20 or more points on three occassions and is averaging a career-high 30.4 minutes per contest.
- Smith missed the majority of the 2018-19 season due to injury.
