Soccer defeats Southeastern Louisiana on Sunday afternoon

- The Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi soccer team defeated Southeastern Louisiana, 2-0, on Sunday afternoon at the Dr. Jack Dugan Soccer and Track & Field Stadium.
- Texas A&M-Corpus Christi move to 6-5-1 and 3-1-1 in conference action, while Southeastern falls to 2-9-1 and 1-4 in the Southland. 
- The Islanders' have now tied the program record for most wins in a single season with six, which was originally set back in 2017. 
- Abby Deakin and Ana Recarte-Pacheco each scored a goal in today's match. Deakin currently leads the team with six goals this season. 
- A&M-Corpus Christi remains unbeaten in its last four matches.

- Recarte-Pacheco scored the first goal of the day in the 41st minute from Deakin. 
- Deakin followed with a goal in the 82nd minute off the assist from Maddie Janolo
