CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas -- The Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi women's basketball program (9-6, 3-1 Southland) closes out a three-game home stretch Saturday afternoon against New Orleans (5-9, 1-4 Southland) in the opening matchup of a doubleheader with men's basketball, tipoff scheduled for 2:30 p.m. at the American Bank Center. The Islanders split the home-and-home with the Privateers last season, falling 66-49 in an early conference roadtrip before bouncing back during early-February's Homecoming game for a 75-68 victory. All-time, the Blue & Green have cruised against UNO, owning a 7-2 overall mark with an undefeated 4-0 home record.
