Soccer Drops a 1-0 Match at Southeastern Louisiana

- The Islanders' soccer program (4-3-2, 1-1-1 Southland) suffered their first setback in six matches, falling on the road to Southeastern Louisiana by a 1-0 mark Friday evening. The Lady Lions notched the game-winning goal late in the second half off the leg of Sammeli Sage.
- Sophomore goalkeeper Kyleigh Hall returned between the posts after taking a one-match sabbatical last Sunday against Stephen F. Austin.

- Bolstered by the Islanders' usual offensive aggression, Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi managed to outpace the Lady Lions in nearly all major categories, including total shots (10-7), shots on goal (7-2) and corner kicks (5-3).
- Freshman Ashley Tuccio and sophomore Celia Hilsabeck led the team in shots for the night, totaling two apiece, while seven other Islanders picked up one.
