Women's Basketball returns to action against Texas State

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas -- After dropping a hard-fought matchup at Texas Tech this past Tuesday, the Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi women's basketball program (2-1, 0-0 Southland) aims to move back into the win column Monday evening against former Southland foe Texas State (2-3, 0-0 Sun Belt), battling the Bobcats at 7 p.m. in the Dugan Wellness Center. The Islanders carry a 6-13 overall record versus Texas State into the matchup, including a three-game home losing streak, as they seek to secure a 3-1 start for the first time since the 2009-10 season.
