Key Islander Statistics
- Bolstered by the Southland Conference's leading goal-scorer -- April Trowbridge -- and a fierce defensive back line, the Lady Demons managed to control Texas A&M-Corpus Christi's offensive push throughout the match. Statistically, this led to Northwestern State outpacing the Islanders in both shots (11-8) and shots on goal (6-3) while the two squads evened out on corner kicks (6-6).
- For the first time this season, five Islanders competed for the entirety of the 90-minute match, including Flax, sophomore
Addison Urbanus and a trio of defenders -- senior
