- Corpus Christi's six rejections against SHSU are one short of a season-high for the islanders
- Mbamalu's two blocks against the Bearkats tie a career-high, while Uri Jolivette's two against New Orleans also tie a career-high
- The Blue and Green are a perfect 9-0 when leading at the half this season, and 0-8 when losing or otherwise
- Sitting 23rd in the country and second in the Southland Conference, the Islanders are giving up an average of just 56.4 points per game
- Dalesia Booth is the strongest blocker in the SLC, recording a conference-high of 26 blocks and 1.63 rejections per contest

SCOUTING THE COLONELS
- Sitting 25th in D-I women's basketball with 11.1 steals per game, Nicholls is one of four SLC teams sitting in the top-25 concerning that category
- Junior guard Cassidy Barrios has won SLC Player of the Week honors twice this year, leading the conference in rebounds (163), minutes played (629) and double-doubles (8)
- Averaging 2.47 three-pointers per game, Tykeria Williams is shooting the second best average from beyond the arc in the SLC (37.4%)
- Barrios is also averaging over a block per game, and is just short of averaging a double-double per contest (14.8 ppg/9.9 rpg)
- Nicholls currently sits 5th in the Southland, looking for their seventh straight trip to the conference tournament
