Islanders take Louisiana to face UNO and Nicholls St

Islanders continue SLC play on the road against the Privateers and Colonels

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – The Islanders travel to Louisiana to face New Orleans and Nicholls. The last time Corpus Christi took on the Privateers was in last years Southland Conference Championship. For Nicholls, they currently sit at second in the SLC.
 
The Islanders are looking for their second conference win on Saturday night against UNO and look to continue the streak in Thibodaux versus Nicholls State.
 
ISLANDER INSIGHT

>> Joseph Kilgore is the leader of the young Islander squad, averaging 17.4 ppg and is averaging 34.4 mpg.
>> Kilgore was just three points shy of his season high 25 points against Sam Houston State.
>> For the first time this season both twins, Sean and Deion Rhea, saw playing time against SHSU.
>> Starter Sean Rhea is averaging 9.0 ppg this season and has made an impact this season on both sides of the ball.
