CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – In the final weekend of the season, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi beach volleyball hosts TCU and Texas A&M-Kingsville on Saturday at the Islanders Beach Volleyball Courts located at the Dugan Family Soccer and Track Stadium.

To celebrate the final matches of the year, the first 150 fans in attendance will receive a free Islanders tank top.

The Islanders will open the day with a 12:30 p.m. match against TCU. The Islanders and Horned Frogs have met once this season with TCU taking the match.

Following the match with TCU, the Islanders will square off with Texas A&M-Kingsville for the third time this season. All three of the meetings have come in the past eight days.

On Wednesday night, the Islanders went to Kingsville and rallied from a 2-0 deficit to down the Javelinas.
Madison Green and
Madi Fitzsimmons rolled to a straight-set victory at number one to spark the comeback.
Brittany Gilpin and
Morgan Carlson also earned a straight-set win to level the match at 2-2.

In the final match on,
Mallory Moran and
Mackenzie Coates forced a third set with a tight 21-19 victory in the second. The Islanders then edged out the Javelinas in extras, winning 18-16 to clinch the match.
