CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – Islanders basketball officially returns as Texas A&M-Corpus Christi opens the regular season against Our Lady of the Lake inside the Dugan Wellness Center at 7:30 p.m. Friday in a game presented by Aspen Heights.

The Islanders and OLLU are meeting to open the regular season for a fourth consecutive season. The previous three meetings mark the only in series history, with the Blue and Green holding a 3-0 mark. In last season's tilt, Corpus Christi emerged with a 115-100 victory.

Corpus Christi then returns home to host UTRGV in the South Texas Showdown presented by NavyArmy Community Credit Union Wednesday night on Corpus Christi Athletic Club Court at the American Bank Center.
