CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – Tipping off a seven-game road swing, the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi women's basketball team faces Texas A&M on Saturday at 2 p.m. in Reed Arena.

The game will be carried on SEC Network +. The Islanders Digital Network will have an audio stream starting with the NavyArmy Community Credit Union Pregame Show with Doug Kesterson on the call.

The Islanders (4-3) and Texas A&M (6-2) have not met since 2005 in the second round of the WNIT. The Aggies bested the Blue and Green 65-59 to close the most successful year in the Island's history. Texas A&M holds a 3-0 all-time record against A&M-Corpus Christi.

The Islanders jumped back into the win column on Tuesday with a 73-44 thrashing of Schreiner.

Dalesia Booth dropped 10 points each to lead the team in scoring. They both recorded their third game in double figures this year.

Camesha Davis saw her streak of double-doubles end at four, tied for the most all time. She is averaging 9.1 points and eight rebounds per game, leading the team in both categories.

Defensively, the Islanders have been a brick wall. They enter Saturday ranked second in the Southland Conference in scoring defense (56.6) and opponent shooting (34.1), the latter is good for 29th in the nation.

Texas A&M avoided its first three-game losing skid since 2011-12 with a 75-67 win over Texas Christian on Thursday night. Danni Williams leads a trio of Aggies in double-figure scoring with 18.9 points per game, while Anriel Howard is averaging a double-double with 10.8 points and 13.3 rebounds per game.

Saturday's game will be the first of seven on the road for the Islanders. A&M-Corpus Christi will not return to the Coastal Bend until Jan .7 against Northwestern State at the American Bank Center.
