Texas A&M-Corpus Christi returns to the court for the first time in nine days Sunday as the Islanders host UTSA in the American Bank Center. The Islanders are coming off a 77-67 victory over St. Mary's (Tx.) to push their record to a Southland best 6-2 on the season.
 
The Islanders and Roadrunners are meeting for the 22nd time on the hardwood, with the Blue and Green holding a slim edge, 11-10, in the all-time series. In Corpus Christi, the series is level at 5-5 in 10 meetings.
 
Sunday kicks off a three games in five days stretch for the Islanders before closing shop for the holiday break. The Islanders trek to No. 20 Saint Mary's Tuesday before wrapping the week at Oklahoma State Thursday.
 
BIKES FOR KIDS
 
In the spirit of the holidays, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi is donating a portion of all ticket sales for Sunday's game to Bikes for Kids Corpus Christi. Bikes for Kids is an organization with a mission of providing bicycles to underprivileged children.

TV SHOOTOUT
 
10 fans in attendance at Sunday's game will have the chance to walk away with a brand new, 40-inch television just in time for the holidays. The 10 contestants will take part in a halftime shootout to determine who is taking home prize.

• Coach Willis Wilson is aiming for his 300th victory as a head coach Sunday afternoon.
• Guard Ehab Amin ranks third in the nation with 3.4 steals per game.
• Cole Martinez continues to shoot the lights out, ranking 15th in the country in 3-point shooting percentage.
• As a team, the Islanders have wreaked havoc on opponents, ranking seventh nationally in steals.

• A familiar face, former Islander Jeff Beverly leads UTSA in scoring at 15.5 points per game.
• UTSA has faced a pair of common opponents with the Islanders, defeating Texas State 63-48 while falling to Cal Poly 59-47.
• The Roadrunners crash the glass, ranking 41st nationally in rebounding and 37th in offensive boards.
• UTSA has been turnover prone this season, coughing up the ball 148 times to rank 260th in the nation.
 
WEEK AHEAD
 
Following Sunday's game, the Blue and Green will hop a flight to California to face the Gaels of Saint Mary's before returning back across the country to face Oklahoma State.
