The 2006 Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Homecoming Pep Rally will
be Thursday evening at 8 p.m. in the University Center
Courtyard.
University President Flavius Killebrew will kick off the event with
a few remarks to welcome Islander fans. Both the men's and women's
basketball teams will be then introduced with men's head coach
Ronnie Arrow and women's head coach Jodi Kest addressing the crowd.
The Texas A&M-Corpus Christi cheerleaders, Izzy the Islander,
and pep band will perform throughout the night.
During the pep rally, the winners of Camden Miramar door and
balcony decorating contest will be announced. Fans will also have
the chance to win t-shirts and win various door prizes including
gift certificates to Padres Staples Mall and Best Buy and tickets
to Pat Green and Blues Traveler at Concrete Street ampitheater.
