AT UNIVERSITY OF BRIDGEPORT (2011-12):
Has three years of eligibility remaining … missed the 2012 season due to injury … as a freshman, played in 17 games, posting a goal and two assists … helped Bridgeport to an undefeated 16-0-2 season … picked up rookie of the week honors in her first week for the Purple Knights.

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB:
Played four years in high school for Jon Cohn at Manchester High School with Islanders assistant coach Lauren Molinaro serving as an assistant on the staff for two of those years … scored 12 goals and six assists as a senior … earned all-state recognition in her sophomore and senior campaigns … was named all-conference in her freshman, sophomore and senior years … represented Region I for the Olympic Development Program in 2007 for the international tournament.

PERSONAL:
Jenny Hwang was born on Sept. 4, 1993, in Manchester, Conn. … daughter of Sharen Hassel and Kwang Hwang … has four sisters and one brother … is still undecided as to her major at the Island University.
