Nicole Randall joined the Islanders soccer program as Assistant Coach in spring 2022. She arrived from Idaho where she served in the same role since 2018.

She oversaw one players earning SLC Defender of the Week honors as a midfielder over the 2023 campaign.
 
Randall joined the Island, coming off a 10-6-2 season with the Vandals. The 10 wins were the third most in program history and they also posted the third-best winning percentage. In the Spring 2021 season, the Vandals recorded four clean sheets. Four Vandals earned All-Big Sky accolades, including Taylor Brust who was named to the Second Team. 

In her first year with the team, the Vandals finished 9-7-3 and earned the No. 2 seed in the Big Sky Conference Tournament with a 6-1-2 conference mark.
 
The Vandals conceded the fewest goals in a season in team history.  Idaho also posted a home record of 6-0-1, going undefeated in Moscow for the third time in the last four years.  Six student-athletes earned All-Big Sky recognition, including Kelly Dopke as Defensive Most Valuable Player and Makayla Presgrave as co-Goalkeeper of the Year.
 
Prior to Idaho, Randall spent two years at Allen Community College in Kansas where she helped lead the Red Devils to back-to-back Region VI Tournament appearances.
 
Prior to Allen, Randall spent three seasons at Fort Hays State, the first as a graduate assistant and the following two as an assistant coach. Randall helped the Tigers to a record of 31-21-6 in her three years on staff. She helped guide FHSU to a third-place finish in the MIAA standings in 2014, the program's highest finish in conference play in team history.

Randall played at FHSU from 2011-12 after transferring from Hutchinson (Kan.) Community College. She was a key part of Fort Hays State's MIAA Tournament Championship run in 2012 as the team knocked off the No. 3, No. 2, and No. 1 seeds to earn the conference's automatic qualifying bid to the NCAA Tournament. She played in a total of 40 matches at FHSU over two years, finishing with one goal and three assists.

In her two years at Hutchinson CC, she was an all-conference first team selection as a freshman and all-conference second team selection as a sophomore. She also earned all-region honors both years.

Randall is a native of Wichita, Kansas. She holds a masters degree in Health and Human Performance from Fort Hays State University.
