2015 (JUNIORS):
Made a pair of starts in a campaign of 17 appearances… tallied a pair of assists, in addition to four shots, three on goal, for the year… assisted the game winner by Nanna Poulsen against Incarnate Word on Oct. 9, before giving the helper on Jessica Berdan’s game winner against McNeese State on Oct. 25.
2014 (SOPHOMORE):
Played in 15 games and made one start … posted two shots on the season … started at defensive holding mid against Houston (8/22) … tallied single shots against Nicholls (9/21) and McNeese State (10/3).
2013 (FRESHMAN):
Appeared in all 18 games, coming off the bench in the midfield … posted one assist and seven shots on the season … set up Yvette Franco’s first goal in the Islanders’ 2-1 win over UTSA (9/6) … delivered two shots in the Islanders’ 1-0 win over McNeese (10/4).
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB:
Joined the Islanders after a strong career for Austin High School under Deena Telley … scored 15 goals to go along with five assists in 2012 … posted a career total of 25 goals at the varsity level … earned second team all-district honors in 2012 after leading her team in scoring … was her team’s offensive MVP in 2010 and 2012 … four-time academic all-district selection … played her club soccer under Rob Ferguson for a very strong Lonestar FC program … helped the team finish third at the STYSA State Cup in both 2011 and 2012 … Lonestar finished the season ranked fifth in the state … a National Honor Society member.
PERSONAL:
Audrey Lea Kuhl was born on May 2, 1995, in Austin … daughter of Sherri and John Kuhl … has two sisters, Ruth and Hannah … intends to major in marine biology at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
