In High School: Compete at Copperas Cove High School for coach Ballard...set school records as a senior for the Bulldogs with a jump of 18’8" in the long jump and 39’9" in the triple jump...ran 57.11 in the 400-meter dash and 25.2 in the 200 as a senior...top scorer for Copperas Cove as junior and senior...also played volleyball for the Bulldawgs for three season earning team MVP honors as a senior and most valuable hitter honors as a sophomore and junior.

Personal: Born Tye’sha McFarlin on Feb. 23, 1990 in Rocky Mount, North Carolina...daughter of Evelyn and Alphonso McFarlin...has one older sibling...major is kinesiology.
