Competed in four meets…Ran personal-best 16:23.46 in 5000-meter at Roadrunner Invitational…Opened outdoor campaign with season-best 4:14.92 in 1500-meter at UIW Invitational.

2021 Indoor (Junior)
Placed 10^th in distance medley relay (10:45.60) at Southland Conference Championships.

2020 Indoor (Sophomore)
Placed ninth in the 3,000m run (9:22.33) at the FasTrak Collegiate Invitational ... was 18th in the mile at the Texas Tech Shootout (4:43.54).

2019 Outdoor (Freshman)
Placed 21st in the 1,500m at the Southland Championships (4:20.3) ... was sixth in the 800m at the South Texas Showdown (2:10.24) and was 13th in the 1,500 (4:36.35) ... finished seventh in the 3,000m at the Roadrunner Invitational (9:25.00).

2019 Indoor (Freshman)
Finished 20th at the Southland Championships in the mile (4:34.09) ... placed third in the DMR at the Ted Nelson Invitational ... was seventh in the mile (4:38.46) at the Texas Tech Shootout.

PRIOR TO TEXAS A&M-CORPUS CHRISTI (ALICE HS)
Ran under Marissa Acosta his entire high school career... lettered all four years with the Coyote's Track & Field Team... qualified for state, while earning All-Region and All-District his senior year... received All-Academic Award and National Honor Society Award from Alice HS.

Son of Donna and Micheal Lara... was born February 25, 2000 in Alice TX... has one brother (Christain) and one sister (Ella)... majoring in nursing... dream job is being a Nurse Practitioner.
