CAREER RESULTS AND PERSONAL BESTS
2014 Cross Country (Senior): Recorded a season-best finish in the 8k at the Islanders Splash with a time of 26:27.8. Finished 37th at the Southland Conference Championships with a mark of 25:27.1 in the 8k event.
2014 Indoor and Outdoor Track (Senior): Set personal-bests in both the mile and the 5000 meter races. Finished third in the 5000 at the Houston Indoor Opener with a time of 16:05.24. Posted a fifth-place finish in the 3000 steeplechase during the Islanders Dash with a mark of 9:14.11. Also placed fifth in the Southland Conference Indoor Championships in the 5000 meter race with a mark of 15:01.06.
2013 Cross Country (Junior): His best finish of the year came at the islanders Splash in the 8k after placing fourth with a time of 26:52.5. Placed 18th at the Southland Conference Championships (26:08.5).
2012 OUTDOOR TRACK (Sophomore): Finished third at the Border Olympics (3/3) in the 5k with a time of 16:02.52 … set a new personal record with the eighth best time in Islanders history in the 5k at the Victor Lopez Rice Classic (3/23) with a time of 14:56.14 to qualify for the Southland Conference Championships.
2012 INDOOR TRACK (Sophomore): Ran a season-best time of 8:51.41 to place fourth in the men’s 3k at the Jeff Davis Bank McNeese Indoor Meet (2/3) … finished the 5k with a time of 15:10.5 to place eighth at the Indoor Southland Conference Championships (2/24) … finished fifth at the McNeese State Cowboy Indoor Meet (1/13) with a time of 9:01.81 in the 3k.
2011 CROSS COUNTRY (Sophomore): Teamed up at the UTPA Bronc Relays (9/2) with Brandon Lacy to finish third with a time of 38:16 … finished 17th in the men’s 5k at the Rice Invite (9/16) with a time of 17:32 … placed fourth at the Islander Splash (9/23) in the men’s 8k with a time of 26:42 … performed a season-best time of 26:14.8 in the men’s 8k at the Southland Conference Championships (10/31) … ran in seven events during the season.
2011 OUTDOOR (Freshman): Finished second at the Cactus Cup (3/19) and the J. Fred Duckett Twilight (4/23) in the 5K with times of 16:13.12 and 15:14.34, respectively … recorded a season best at the Victor Lopez Classic in the 1500 meter run with a time of 4:10.29.
2011 INDOOR (Freshman): Placed fifth in the one mile at the McNeese Cowboy Indoor Meet (1/14) … finished sixth at the Texas Tech Invitational (1/21) in the 5000 meter run with a time of 16:10.46 to place him in 10th place in the Islanders men’s top 10 … finished 16th at the Houston Open (2/5) in the one mile.
2010 CROSS COUNTRY (Freshman): Ran in four meets during the season ... his best finish was 11th at the Islanders Splash (9/24) with a time of 27:02 ... finished 16th at the Ricardo Romo/Six Flags Fiesta Texas Classic (9/17) clocking in at 15:31.0 ... crossed the finished line in 34th place at the Southland Conference Championships (10/28) with a time of 26:51.4.
