In High School: Threw at West Oso High School in Corpus Christi for head coach Venitla Tryon...won districts and was a regional qualifier...senior year had a mark of 130' in the discus and 38' in the shot...lettered four years in basketball and one in volleyball...first team all-district and regional finalist in basketball also made a all-star team...part of the National Honor Society.
