In High School: Competed at Fredericksburg High School for coach Debra Rathke...won the state title in the 800 stopping the clock with a time of 2:16.21 after finishing third in the region as a sophomore and junior and eighth as a freshman...named the ?05 San Antonio Express-News Women’s Track Athlete of the Year...won region meet as a senior with personal-best time of 2:15.39...part of team that qualified for the state in the 1600-meter relay in 2004 and 2005...finished fourth in the Texas 4A Cross-Country meet.
