PRIOR TO TEXAS A&M-CORPUS CHRISTI (EISENHOWER HS): Attended classes at George Washington Carver Magnet High School and participated in athletics at Eisenhower High School in Houston... threw for Ahmad Roper with the Eagles... three personal best in the shot put of 44-feet six-inches, 143-feet in the discus... four-time regional qualifier... four-time district champion with the Eagles... Varsity Thrower of the Year in 2012... Team Eagle of the Year and Field Woman of the Year in 2013... two-time All-American as a junior... state qualifier in 2015.
PERSONAL: Born Diamond Thomas on Sept. 20, 1996... daughter of Janet Moore... majoring in environmental science... wants to one day work for the NOAA (National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration) or the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency).
