In High School: Coached by her father Carey Hollands at Molina High School...top times as a senior was 11.98 in the 100-meter dash and 25.2 in the 200...part of relay teams that set school records in the 4x100 and 4x200 in 47.77 seconds and 1:42.43, respectively.

Personal: Charnita Hollands in Dallas on Dec. 30,1989...daughter of Carey Hollands...has three siblings ? an older brother Christopher, a sister Andria and a twin sister ? Charnita, who also runs for the Islanders..intends to major in sports management.
