JUNIOR (OUTDOOR 2017): Four individual top-10 finishes over the course of the outdoor season... ran to seventh in the first 1500m of her college career (5:23.35) at the Valley Classic (3/3)... finished her first 800m in 2:45.36 at the Valley Classic... improved 3000m Steeple PR to 11:47.71 while running at the Victor Lopez Classic (3/24)... took fourth in the Islander Open Collegiate Meet 2000m Steeple (3/11) with a time of 8:05.37.

JUNIOR (INDOOR 2016-17): Finished third at the Aggie Team Invitational (1/13) with a 19:16.01 in the 5000m... personal record in the mile with a 5:32.36 at the Dunamis Sports Group College Classic II (5:32.36)... ran personal fastest 5000m of the year at the Southland Conference Championship (18:53.73).

JUNIOR (XC 2016): Posted two top-10 finishes... completed a fourth place finish in the Islander Splash 5K (9/16) in 19:54.8)... went eighth in the UIW Invitational Dual Meet (10/8) with a 22:50.5 in the 6K.

SOPHOMORE (OUTDOOR 2016): Took hold of three top-10 finishes... crossed the finish line in fourth at the Islander Collegiate Opener (3/12), running the 3000m Steeple in 12:06.07.

SOPHOMORE (INDOOR 2015-16): Claimed second in the Texas A&M 13 Team Invitational 5000m (1/15) with a time of 18:25.98... ran PRs in both the 3000m (10:31.43) and the 5000m (18:09.28) during the Southland Conference Championship (2/15-16).

SOPHOMORE (XC 2015): Ran 19:23.3 at the Southland Conference Cross Country Preview... paced fastest 6K of the season at the Incarnate Word Invitational (10/10), with a time of 23:16.8.

FRESHMAN (OUTDOOR 2015): Raced to third in the 7000m at the 2015 Islander Open Spring Break Meet (26:59.91)... won the 2015 Islander Dash Invitational Meet 5000m with a time of 19:19.08... ran fastest personal 10,000m of the season during the Southland Conference Championship (40:26.96).

FRESHMAN (INDOOR 2014-15): Took second in the Houston Indoor Opener 5000m (1/9) with a time of 19:52.20... claimed third in the Texas A&M 13 Team Invitational 5000m (1/16) at 19:23.97... ran the 3000m at the Howie Ryan Invitational & Multi's (1/30), recording a 11:14.03).

FRESHMAN (XC 2014): Ran fastest 6K of the season at the NCAA Division I South Central Region Cross Country Championships (23:44.8).

PRIOR TO TEXAS A&M-CORPUS CHRISTI (EASTWOOD HS): Attended Eastwood High School and ran under coach Mike McLain.

PERSONAL: Born Sept. 4, 1995 in El Paso, Texas... daughter of Irma and Perry Piñón... has one brother (Paul)... major is marine biology.
