CAREER RESULTS AND PERSONAL BESTS

High School: Attended Texas State last season but did not compete ... posted a personal-best time of 1:56.23 under head coach Gregg Smith to win the 800m at the Colorado State Track and Field Championships as a senior at Gunnison High School ... earned First Team All Conference his first three years in cross country and track along with earning First Team All Conference in track his senior year ... helped the Cowboys earn back-to-back championships at the regional meet in 2009 and 2010 ... broke the mile school record with a time of 4:32 ... earned Academic All-State First Team in 2009 and 2010 ... also lettered three years in basketball. 

 

Personal: Born Bryce Johnston on Jan. 19, 1993, in Gunnison, Colo. ... parents are Chip and Pam Johnston ... has one brother, Corbin ... major is communication.
