Earned All-Southland honors in the DMR, finishing third at the Southland Championships (12:13.74) and placed 12th in the mile (5:18.32) ... set an indoor personal record in the 800 (2:29.09) at the Texas Tech Shootout and also placed 17th in the mile (5:31.34).

Won the 1,500 at the Southland Championships (5:31.50) ... named Southland All-Academic ... finished fourth in the 5,000m at the Southland Championships (17:30.29) ... won the 1,500 at the UIW Invitational, the UTSA Invitational and the Texas Relays ... won the 5,000 at the Victor Lopez Classic (16:27.41) ... finished sixth in the 5,000 at the Mt. SAC Relays (16:16.61) ... finished 29th at the NCAA West Preliminaries in the 5,000 (16:18.57).

2018 Indoors (Junior)
Southland Conference Champion in the mile (4:53.65) ... finished fourth in the 3,000 at Southland Championships (9:49.80) ... won the mile at the Texas Tech Shootout (5:04.80) ... won the 5,000 at the Houston Invitational (16:48.03) ... won the mile at the Red Raider Invitational (5:00.46) ... won the 3,000 at the Ted Nelson Invitational (9:58.79).

PRIOR TO TEXAS A&M-CORPUS CHRISTI (MESA CC)
An eight-time NJCAA All-American at Mesa Community College... finished third in the 2016 NJCAA Outdoor Championship 5000m (18:29.51)... took 12th in the 2016 NJCAA Division I Cross Country Championship with a time of 18:28.1 in the 5K... claimed six first-place finishes during the indoor 2017 season... tallied wins at the 2017 Region I Outdoor Track & Field Championship in the 1500m (5:06.24) and the 800m (2:24.09)... Mesa CC Cross Country MVP in 2016.

PRIOR TO TEXAS A&M-CORPUS CHRISTI (HIGHLAND HS)
Recorded a pair of top-three finishes at the 2012 Arizona DI Track and Field State Championship... part of 4x800m 2014 State Championship relay team...  named Highland HS Cross Country MVP in 2014 and Track MVP in 2015.

PERSONAL
Daughter to Kerrie and Mark Girard... comes to the Island on a transfer from Mesa Community College and a single cross country season spent at the University of Minnesota-Duluth... majoring in Biology and plans to pursue a Masters in Nutrition & Dietetics... teammates with Zach Harrach and Samantha Miller at Mesa CC.
