2016 (FRESHMAN): Made 43 appearances with 42 starts... hit .196 for the year with nine RBI and five doubles... went a career-best 2-for-3 at UTSA (April 26)... notched first career RBI against Prairie View A&M (March 5). 

HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year letterwinner under head coach Latonya Dorsey at Hargrave High School in Huffman, Texas … earned first team all-district, first team all-area and third team all-state honors after leading the Falcons to the state semifinals during her junior year … garnered the MVP Offensive Player award and honorable mention honors as a sophomore … helped the Falcons to three consecutive district championships ... advanced to the state semifinals as a junior.

PERSONAL: Born Megan Shari Mitchell on Oct. 23, 1996, in Houston, Texas … parents are Bobby and Katina Mitchell.
