2016 (JUNIOR): Started all 48 games, the only Islander to do that... tied for third on the team with a batting average of .248... notched a pair of RBI on the season with two doubles... went a perfect 3-for-3 at Houston Baptist (April 23)... named the Islanders Female Scholar Athlete of the Year for the second consecutive time.

2015 (SOPHOMORE): Started in 40 of the 43 games she played in … recorded a .243 batting average and matched a season-best six sacrifice hits … started 11 games in right field before earning 29 starts in center field … recorded a .985 fielding percentage … tallied 26 hits, including one double and one triple … finished 4-for-4 on stolen bases … went 2-for-3 against Lamar (4/10/15) and Texas state (4/22/15) … earned Islanders Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year after achieving a perfect 4.0 in Kinesiology … also claimed a spot on the Southland Conference All-Academic second team. 

2014 (FRESHMAN): Started in 48 of the Islanders’ 52 games … registered 45 starts in right field and three in center field … hit .229 and swiped five stolen bases … tallied 30 hits and a team-high six sacrifice hits … went 2-for-3 in her first game as an Islander against Ball State (2/8/14) … nailed two doubles and an RBI … earned a spot on the Southland Commissioner's Honor Roll.

HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year letterwinner under head coach Katy Snell at Lockhart High School … earned second team all-district honors in the outfield while helping the Lions to the co-district championships as a freshman … garnered first team all-district honors in the outfield her final three years while leading her team to three consecutive bi-district championships … as a junior she earned Offensive MVP honors and as a senior she earned Defensive MVP honors while helping her team to the area championships both years … hit .425 as a senior and did not commit any errors in the outfield … earned academic all-district accolades all four years and was tabbed academic all-state as a senior … also lettered two years in volleyball.

PERSONAL: Born Mackinzee Nicole Griebel on July 12, 1995, in Austin, Texas … parents are Aron and Jamee Griebel … has one younger brother, Cy … major is kinesiology-pre-physical/pre-occupational therapy.
