Paige Williams

Jodi Paige Williams was hired as the Islanders assistant coach in July 2019.

Prior to A&M-Corpus Christi, Williams spent two seasons as the assistant coach at Temple College where she was named on the 2018 NJCAA DI National Coaching Staff of the Year after the program won the 2018 NJCAA Division I National Softball Championship. While at Temple College, Williams worked with all aspects of the program including the pitchers, catchers, infielders and hitters. She also assisted with the program's day-to-day operations and student-athlete development.

A former standout at as a student-athlete at Temple College, Williams finished her two-year career with a 37-11 overall record, including a 26-3 mark as a sophomore in 2015. That season, she threw 182.0 innings with a 1.19 ERA nd 185 strikeouts.

Williams graduated from Texas State University in May of 2018 with a degree in Exercise Science. She pitched two seasons for the Bobcats, logging 140.0 innings in the circle with 12 victories and 93 total strikeouts. Texas State qualified for the NCAA Tournament in each of her two seasons in San Marcos. During both seasons, she worked daily with Texas State Associate Head Coach Cat Osterman.
