Competed in two races ... finished eighth at the HBU/UTRGV meet (21:45.6) ... finished 18th at the Rice Invitational (20:47.4).

PRIOR TO TEXAS A&M-CORPUS CHRISTI (MESA CC)
Earned NJCAA All-American Cross Country honors in 2016... First Team All-Region and All-Conference honors for the 2016 cross country season... named an All-American for the 2017 indoor season in both the mile and the 1000m.

PRIOR TO TEXAS A&M-CORPUS CHRISTI (HIGHLAND)
Coached by Dave Montgomery at Highland High School... part of 4x800m relay team that took state in 2015.
